Dog Walking
We offer solo on lead dog walks to give your dog exercise when you are unable to (e.g. when you work long hours or due to illness).
We offer 4 main types of walks for you to choose from:
- SNIFFARI – mentally stimulating walk where the dog takes the lead and can sniff freely
- LITTLE ADVENTURE – we go through fields/woods and create a fun adventure for your dog
- SLOW AND STEADY – a slower paced walk mainly on level surfaces ideal for seniors and those with medical problems/recovering from illness
- MIXED WALK – where we combine the different walks to make it as fun as possible for your dog
We also offer settling and calming periods after our dog walks, this means that we make sure your dog is in the right frame of mind before we leave your home.
Pet Sitting Visits
Our pet sitting visits are essentially little friend visits for your pet, these are most ideal for cats and small animals (e.g. rabbits and guinea pigs).
During these visits we take the lead from what your pet prefers. For example, a play session, giving cuddles on the sofa and providing companionship for those who like their independence.
All visits consist of changing water, feeding (as requested), cleaning litter trays, cleaning up any messes that have been made. checking for any changes in behaviours or any medical concerns, and sending you updates to give you peace of mind (we will send photos if your pet allows!)
Puppy Visits
When you have a puppy it is suprising how much social interaction and training they require. This is something we can help you with.
We can visit your puppy multiple times in the day for toilet breaks in the garden, for play time, training and socialisation. Once fully vaccinated we will take them on little socialisation walks and for longer walks as they grow.
All visits consist of changing water, feeding (as requested), cleaning up any accidents, checking for any changes in behaviours or any medical concerns, and sending you updates to give you peace of mind (we will send photos if your pet allows!)
Holiday Care for Cats and Smalls (e.g. Rabbits, Guinea Pigs)
We will look after your pet with love and care while you are on holiday. This means you can focus on being away and enjoying yourself rather than worrying about your pet at home! We will devise a plan that will work best for yourself and your pet to minimise changes in your pets routine.
Why have in home drop in visits for your cat rather than use a cattery? The simple answer is most cats find it less stressful! This is because they can stay at home in their safe and familiar surroundings, their feeding routines can be kept the same, playtime and interactions is based on what the cat prefers, there is no stress from travel and one to one care and attention is given.
Service Areas
We are based in the Shotley peninsula, with our main focus in Shotley and Shotley Gate.
However, for a small fuel charge we also cover: Erwarton, Harkstead, Chelmondiston, Woolverston, Holbrook and Stutton.
